Mr. Peppersnout

I don't remember if I ever said anything about my friend Christian's favorite movie of all time- The Girl Next Door. I know he wanted me to say something on it so I will. I'm pretty sure I didn't say anything.

The Girl Next Door stars a nerd no one has ever seen, not even his biological parents, and the girl from 24, soon to be known as The Girl Next Door seeing as how DVD sales for the movie have gone through the roof. Initially thought of as a failure, the movies second life is fueling a new opinion of the movie as of being high quality. Its a great movie that has stuck the movie "True Romance" in a "made-for-teen" machine. Nice story, mildly humorous, and sexy at times The Girl Next Door has a lot of good things going on and doesn't try to be more than it is, which is a cutesy love tale for adolescent Porn lovers.

True Romance on the other hand is a great movie, although few have ever heard about it. It was directed by Tony Scott who would go on to receive massive acclaim for his next movie Crimson Tide, and had already directed Top Gun and Days of Thunder among other movies. The movie was written by none other than Quentin Tarentino. Needless to say the movie is fast-paced, action packed, and full of witty dialogue. From the opening conversation about Sonny Chiba movies there is no doubt that it is a movie Tarentino fans will like. I say the movie is like The Girl Next Door b/c its premise surrounds the same line of fall in love with a dirty girl and now must lose her pimp/producer.

Both good movies, recommend watching both. But if you need to go with one over the other True Romance comes out on top. Plus you'll recognize most of the actors.

hi michael i think you should include information about the girl you so desepraretely wanted to be with but just slipped through your fingers. you know who that is!
